Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed)

Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed)is an undergraduate course dealing with sports and physical fitness. The programme deals with the study of various development and caring techniques associated with the human body. It basically introduces the individual to the domain of all sort of sports activities and its related knowledge. The course is ideal for students interested in gaining an in-depth knowledge of fitness and physical activities.B.P.Ed course is administered by the All Indian Council of Physical Education alias AICPE. The course is an interdisciplinary course, which delves into the scientific principles involved in various physical activities and their impact on human fitness. The course is of 3 years long duration and can be extended to maximum 5 years. There are many universities like Kanpur University or Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune which offer Bachelor of Physical Education of 1 year duration. This course is not available from distance learning, although in Master’s level this program can be learned through distance learning. Some of the B.P.Ed. Specialization courses are:
